Commencement is a time for thousands of students and family members to celebrate the success of the latest graduating class. As part of that celebration, each year UNC Creative is tasked to create a variety of assets to be used across print, digital and social media.
In 2023 the Spring Commencement Program was updated to a more timeless design that was more in line with the University brand and could be easily updated for years to come. Brand textures and a flood of Carolina Blue were incorporated into the cover to help add visual interest, while the interior pages relied on clean, on-brand typography and a well-organized layout to help the reader digest content. This simplified design provided flexibility for the long lists of changing content and ensured the document would be easy to update and maintain over the years.
